Growth and development in Oran Park NSW
Few suburbs have a clearer before and after. Oran Park Raceway operated from 1962 until 2010, hosting touring car rounds and preliminary Grand Prix events, and the town that replaced it counted 17,624 residents at the 2021 Census. Oran Park Podium, the town centre, opened in September 2014 and was renovated and enlarged in 2024. Public transport is bus route 858 through to Leppington station rather than rail in the suburb itself.
